This Privacy Policy applies to the Bias Widgets mobile application for iOS and Android (the "App"), developed by Li ("we", "us", or the "Service Provider"). The App is offered as a freemium service and is provided "as is".
This document explains what information is processed when you use the App, why it is processed, who may receive it, how long it may be retained, and the choices available to you. By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Your widget content stays local. Names, dates, photos, quotes, and other content you add to a widget are stored on your device. We do not upload that content to our servers, Firebase, or AdMob, and we do not use it to personalize advertising.

The App lets you create and personalize widgets using information such as names, dates, photos, quotes, subtitles, and emoji selections. This content is stored in app-private storage on your device and is shared only with the App's widget components as needed to display your widgets:
We do not upload this content to our servers or use it for advertising. Depending on your operating-system backup and device-transfer settings, Apple or Google may include app data in a device backup or transfer under their own privacy policies.
The App uses Firebase Firestore to download remote content and configuration, including quote, countdown, and emoji library resources. Your locally created widget content is not uploaded to Firestore. When the App requests remote content, Google may process technical connection data needed to provide and secure the service.
If purchases or subscriptions are offered on your platform, the transaction is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, as applicable. We may receive a transaction identifier, receipt or purchase token, product information, and subscription or entitlement status so that the App can provide purchased features. We do not receive your payment card details, Apple ID password, or Google Account password.

You may withdraw consent through the controls described in Section 5. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
The App integrates services provided by third parties. These providers may process data under their own privacy policies and terms.
We use Firebase Firestore to retrieve remote App content and configuration. Firebase Analytics may also be used in versions of the App where analytics is enabled to understand feature usage and improve the App. Firebase services may process device information, identifiers, usage events, diagnostic information, and technical connection data, depending on the services enabled.
We use Google AdMob, through the Google Mobile Ads SDK, to load, display, measure, and protect advertising. The SDK may automatically collect and share IP address, user product interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud-prevention purposes. On iOS it may also process crash logs, performance information, device identifiers, ads viewed, and other ad interactions.
We use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request, record, and present privacy and advertising choices where required. The advertising mode may vary based on your region and choices.

Apple and Google provide operating-system widget, backup, device-transfer, attribution, and store-purchase services used by the App, as applicable to your platform.

The App may show personalized, non-personalized, limited, or contextual ads. Personalized ads may use previously collected information to infer interests. Non-personalized ads are not based on past behavior, although identifiers or local storage may still be used for purposes such as frequency capping, aggregated reporting, security, and fraud prevention. Limited ads disable personalization and features that require local identifiers.
Where required, the App uses Google's UMP consent message before requesting ads. If a privacy-options entry is available in the App's Help page, you can use it to review or change eligible choices. You may also manage advertising preferences through your device settings and Google My Ad Center.
On iOS, the App requests permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before accessing the IDFA or tracking you across apps and websites owned by other companies when that permission is required. You can change this choice in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
On Android, you can reset or delete the Android advertising ID and manage supported ad-privacy controls in your device settings. Available controls and menu names vary by device manufacturer and Android version.
If you decline or restrict personalized advertising, you may still see non-personalized, limited, or contextual ads.
We do not sell your locally created widget content or disclose it to advertising providers. We may disclose the technical information described in Section 1.1:
We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may define the disclosure of identifiers or advertising data for interest-based advertising as a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising." Where required, you may opt out or change your choices through the privacy controls described in Section 5 or by contacting us.
Content you create in the App remains in app-private storage until you delete it or uninstall the App. Uninstalling generally removes local App data, subject to operating-system backup, restoration, and device-transfer settings.
We do not set the retention periods used by Google, Apple, or other independent service providers. Technical, advertising, consent, transaction, and diagnostic data is retained according to each provider's settings, legal obligations, and privacy policy. We retain information under our control only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal data, withdraw consent, opt out of certain advertising disclosures, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
You can edit or delete locally created content in the App, change eligible advertising choices as described in Section 5, or stop using the App and uninstall it. Because locally created content is not uploaded to us, we generally cannot access or delete that content on your behalf. To make a request regarding data that you believe we control, contact us using the address in Section 12.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Where a higher minimum age applies, including in parts of the European Economic Area, the applicable higher age governs.
If you believe a child under the applicable minimum age has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we process. User-created content is stored in platform-provided app-private storage and shared with the App's own widget components through iOS App Groups or Android widget state, as applicable. Data transmitted to supported Google services is protected in transit using encryption such as Transport Layer Security (TLS). No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including when App features, SDKs, legal requirements, or service-provider practices change. We will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where required, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the App after an updated policy takes effect is subject to the revised policy.
