This Privacy Policy applies to the Bias Widgets mobile application (hereafter "the App") developed by Li (hereafter "we", "us", or "the Service Provider"). The App is offered as a freemium service for iOS devices and is provided "as is".
This document explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
When you use the App, the following technical information may be collected automatically by the App or by third-party services we integrate (see Section 3):
The App does not collect precise GPS location information.
The App allows you to personalize your widgets by entering content such as your bias's name, dates, photos, and quotes. This information is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework and is shared with the App's widget extension via an Apple App Group container. We do not upload this user-provided content to our servers.
If you purchase a Widget+ subscription, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple's StoreKit. We receive an anonymous transaction receipt to verify your subscription status. We do not receive your name, email address, payment card information, or Apple ID.
The App integrates the following third-party services. Each service has its own privacy policy that governs how they handle the data they collect:
We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Firestore to understand how users interact with the App and to deliver remote configuration. Firebase may collect anonymous identifiers, device information, and usage events.

We use Google AdMob to display advertising within the App. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as IDFA, where permitted), usage data, and approximate location to deliver relevant ads.

StoreKit handles all in-app purchases and subscriptions. We do not receive any payment details.

If you are using iOS 14.5 or later, the App will display Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any third-party tracking takes place. You may grant or deny tracking permission at any time:
If you deny tracking, you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to your interests. We respect your choice and will not attempt to track you across other apps and websites without your consent.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
Content you create within the App (bias names, dates, photos, quotes) is stored locally on your device for as long as you keep the App installed. Uninstalling the App permanently removes this data from your device.
Anonymous analytics and crash logs collected by Firebase and AdMob are retained according to those services' retention policies (typically up to 14 months for Firebase Analytics).

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., EU, UK, California), you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
You can also stop all data collection by the App at any time by uninstalling it. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the email address listed in Section 11.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. In jurisdictions where the minimum age is higher (such as 16 in parts of the EU), the same protections apply.
If you believe that a child under the applicable minimum age has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action, including deleting that information.
We take reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information we process. Sensitive content you create is stored locally in the iOS sandbox and shared only with the App's widget extension via Apple's App Group mechanism. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you within the App. Your continued use of the App after a revised policy takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
